    Jay Modi is a results-focused technology executive, entrepreneur, board member, advisor, and mentor with over 20 years of C-level experience driving innovation in artificial intelligence, cyber defense, computer vision, remote sensing, geospatial intelligence, C5ISR, supply chain risk, and enterprise resilience. He specializes in leading organizations that deliver affordable, efficient, and sustainable product and service innovations, driving revenue and market impact. Jay is the former Chief Technology Officer, Advanced Technology, Lockheed Corporation.

    As a Yale University Cyber Leadership Fellow, member of the Tortora Brayda Institute for AI and Cyber Defense, and participant in the Defense Entrepreneur Forum, he has contributed to defense industrial base initiatives and Tiger Teams addressing critical challenges in C5ISR, national security, advanced remote sensing systems, AI, and cutting edge cyber defense.

    In addition to Ulsch Cyber Advisory, Mr. Modi currently serve as the Chief Technology Officer of Alchemai Inc., where he oversee the development and commercialization of AI-powered supply chain risk solutions that transform risk into competitive advantage. As Senior Advisor for Startup Factory Hub, he focuses on accelerating innovation and scaling transformative solutions. The accelerator offers startups and mid-sized firms access to an elite network of senior professionals with deep expertise in sectors such as AI, cybersecurity, innovative satellite systems, quantum computing and advanced engineering. As Senior Advisor at Quadrant Strategies, Mr. Modi provides strategic guidance to help leading companies navigate complex challenges and build world-class brands. As Fractional Chief Product Officer at Korb Satellite Systems, he drives product strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives to deliver exceptional user experiences and operational excellence.

    Mr. Modi has a proven track record of IP monetization: leading cross-functional teams of engineers and data scientists to deliver revenue-generating innovations, directing RDT&E, and spearheading digital transformation solutions that optimize time, money & pro-actively manage risk. He excels in transitioning disruptive technologies from prototype to MVP into market-validated pilots, and product commercialization in federal and commercial sectors. He has led organizations via FedRAMP and CMMC for private network and GovCloud products & services.

    Additionally, he has directed M&A strategies, new business campaigns, and divestitures, leveraging my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification to manage multiplex software engineering portfolios and organizations. Passionate about solving complex challenges with cutting-edge technology, he is dedicated to empowering teams to achieve innovation and excellence.

    He earned his doctorate in Atmospheric Physics and Dynamics from the University of Chicago. He earned an MS in Atmospheric Physics from William & Mary and MS in Ocean Physics from the University of Connecticut. He received his BS in Applied Mathematics from Bucknell University.
